Who we are
Building a community of men who lead well.
One Man is a Christian men’s ministry helping men across Northern Ireland follow Jesus, stand together and lead well in their families, churches and communities.
We believe men need genuine brotherhood—men who will strengthen, encourage and challenge one another while walking together through the realities of life and faith.
Why One Man exists
Too many men are carrying life alone.
Men can become skilled at hiding behind strong exteriors. We carry burdens silently, conceal our struggles and convince ourselves that asking for help is a sign of weakness.
Isolation can leave men increasingly vulnerable to addiction, temptation, depression, shame and spiritual disconnection. These battles often remain hidden until they begin to affect our faith, relationships, families and sense of purpose.
We believe there is a better way. Men were not designed to face every battle alone. We need brothers who will listen honestly, speak truth with grace, pray with us and stand beside us when life becomes difficult.
Brotherhood does not remove every battle. It means we no longer have to fight them alone.
Our vision
Strengthening men to strengthen the Church.
We believe Christian men have a vital part to play in growing the Church of today and investing in the Church of tomorrow.
When a man becomes deeply rooted in Christ, his faith can have a profound influence on his home, church, workplace and community. Men who lead with humility, love and courage can help create healthier families, stronger churches and communities shaped by hope.
That is why One Man works alongside local churches rather than apart from them. We want to help churches reach men, disciple them and equip them to become faithful followers of Jesus.
If Christian men do not intentionally reach, encourage and disciple other men, who will?
Better together
The possibilities change when men stand together.
One man can accomplish many things. But when men unite under Christ with a shared purpose, they can encourage one another, carry burdens together and make a lasting difference.
This is not about creating perfect men. It is about building faithful men who are willing to show up, remain teachable and walk alongside their brothers.
Brotherhood in action
More than simply meeting together.
Christian brotherhood calls men to become actively involved in one another’s growth. It is expressed through encouragement, honesty, prayer and faithful accountability.
Strengthen
We help men build a stronger foundation in Christ so they can remain grounded through the changing circumstances of life.
Encourage
We remind one another that setbacks, struggles and difficult seasons do not have to be faced in isolation.
Challenge
True brotherhood is willing to ask difficult questions, speak honestly and call men towards growth.
Accountability
We create relationships in which men can be known, supported and lovingly held accountable for their choices.
What we do
Creating places where men can grow.
We put this mission into practice through regular gatherings, practical training, outdoor activities, church partnerships and programmes that invest in the next generation.

Grace and truth
Meeting people where they are.
We seek to love every person where they are while remaining faithful to biblical truth. We do not believe that a man’s struggle, failure or past should prevent him from experiencing dignity, compassion and genuine community.
We are not a replacement for professional mental-health, addiction or crisis services. When specialist support is required, we encourage and signpost men towards appropriate professional help and trusted partner organisations.
Come as you are. You do not have to remain where you are.
Take your next step
You were not made to walk alone.
Whether you are looking for brotherhood, seeking a stronger foundation in faith or exploring support for someone you care about, we would be glad to hear from you.
